The aim of this Virtual Club is to familiarize 6 to 8-year-old kids with the exciting and engaging world of coding and making them see it as an essential skill just like reading and writing, using ScratchJr as a tool. It will help kids to learn coding in a fun and engaging way which will help them to solve problems, create their own projects, and express themselves creatively using computers. Materials Needed:
- ScratchJr on a PC (free program)
- ScratchJr works on iPads, Androids or Chromebooks, but we recommend using a computer
- PC (Mac/Windows)
- Webcam/Microphone
- Stable internet connection for the live class
- Online classes will be held by Zoom Video Conferencing (Meeting invitation will be sent before the workshop)

- add/delete characters and backgrounds.
- move the character to and forth, making it turn and hop.
- start the program and stop it.
