The aim of this workshop is to teach how to create their own sandbox game recreating Minecraft mechanics from scratch. In the previous lessons, students have been learning how to create features to add to their games. In this workshop, they will learn how to recreate similar things from Minecraft, then recreate the same thing in Roblox.

Materials Needed:
- Roblox Studio, Roblox Player
- Students who do not have a Roblox account must sign up on Roblox.com
- PC (Mac/Windows)
- Webcam / microphone / mouse
- Stable internet connection for the live class
- Online classes will be held by Zoom Video Conferencing (Meeting invitation will be sent before the workshop)
Your kid will:
- learn how to recreate and modify things that resemble things from Minecraft.
- gain knowledge on how to use Roblox Studio.
- gain programming knowledge from Lua.
- how to animate his/her characters.
- models and plugins from the toolbox in Roblox Studio.
Your kid will:
- Use Roblox Studio to create his/her own game
- Learn the fundamentals of game design
- Discover level design fundamentals
- Use scripts to move objects and the player
- Publish games to Roblox website
